Jennifer Linnaea was raised in Collinsville, Illinois. As a child she enjoyed reading, creating alien cultures in her mind, and disappearing into the woods for hours on end. Her first short stories were co-authored at slumber parties, and shamelessly involved everyone she knew.

These days, when not writing, Jennifer Linnaea works at the library, for obvious reasons. She's also been a research scientist, bicycle superhero, personal growth workshop assistant, and landlord, not necessarily in that order. She's part of the thriving community of writers and artists in Eugene, OR, and plans on staying put there for a long time: practicing Aikido, studying Japanese, and creating irreverent chaos.
